Hi Pete (again!),

I checked and I know Yahoo provides MySql and PHP (yes, 11.95/mo. - it's
great, I love it!)
I have a database folder that has many php files in it already (I didn't make
them) - I think they were created when I accepted "phpMYAdmin" - so I'm pretty
certain I can do what I want to do...now just how to do it...I can deal with 3
pages; I assume I need to create tables of my information in the same folder
where my other php's are, then somehow point to them...I'll keep looking
around, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks to you Pete, and
all who have responded...

Yes. As a beginner, it's the simplest way to go.

Think of other applications that track things - maybe you could take a
library application and change that?

But to be honest, if the code doesn't do what you want it to "out of the
box", it is often more complicated to change it, than it is start from
scratch. Especially as you only need 3 pages!

Just had a look at Yahoo, they don't mention PHP and MySQL, so perhaps
they don't provide it. And 11.95 per month???? WOW! Wish I could sell
hosting at that price!

I think you need a different host... unless you can get MySQL tables on
Yahoo.

I use hostgator,
http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml
where you could get an account for $4.95 per month with PHP, MySQL

I work from home (see the address in my sig), been working outside all
day today, in the barbecue area by the pool, with the dogs and chickens
running around, and the hills all the way round. It's a hard life...
