Description: ------------ Hello The old site of the PHP.net worked very well , I could find what I needed to know without any effort . In this current is complex trying to find something that is in need , since the search is inaccurate or incoherent. Basically if I'm looking for a command , function, or anything else that I'm not sure that PHP is able to do , by the search ( search field in the upper right acanthus ) 'm still not sure if it's possible . If it's something very comprehensive search item by item by manual or documentation , is an impossible action by size. I ask kindly to correct this "defect " or to introduce a new way to search , broader because this al , find neither what was before . A primary example, if I search for variable or variables , it is not possible to find the definition of variable . But it exists in another context . So it is necessary to go in and manually search documentation . That the old model of the site was simple , just typed there and brought the entire contents of the Site in any context . It is really very difficult to work with this type of search. One more thing , I know that the search has changed , that there is other ways of looking , but when I see that a simple thing became something complex, error messages such as " does not exist . O site antigo do PHP.net funcionava muito bem, conseguia encontrar o que precisava saber sem nenhum esforço. Neste atual, é complexo tentar achar algo que esteja precisando, pois a busca é imprecisa ou incoerente. Básicamente se eu estiver procurando um comando, uma função ou qualquer outra coisa que não tenho certeza que o PHP é capaz de fazer, pela busca (campo busca no acanto superior direito) vou continuar sem saber se é possivel. Se for algo muito abrangente, procurar item a item pelo manual ou documentação, é uma ação impossivel pelo tamanho. Peço gentilmente que corrijam este "defeito" ou acrescentem uma nova forma de busca, mais ampla, pois este ai, não encontro nem o que encontrava antes. Um exemplo primario, se eu procurar por variavel ou variaveis, não é possivel encontrar a definição de variavel. Mas ela existe, em outro contexto. Então é necessario ir na documentação e procurar manualmente. Isso no modelo antigo do site era simples, digitava apenas ali e trazia todo o conteudo do site em todo o contexto. Está realmente muito dificil trabalhar com este tipo de busca. Só mais uma coisa, eu sei que a busca mudou, que existe outras formas de procura, mas quando vejo que uma coisa simples se tornou algo complexo, que mensagens de erro tipo "doesn't exist. Closest matches" são mais importantes do que facilitar a vida do usuario colocando, por exemplo, um checkbox bem visivel (em destaque mesmo) com a primeira opção "full website search" marcada, acho que tem algo errado ai.
