We absolutely don't support IE 7 anymore. IE 8 barely works (and sometimes
not even then). I am pretty sure that we don't want to support IE 8 anymore
now that Windows XP is no longer supported.

Colleen:
If you are willing to go through this effort I would suggest removing all
hacks and add back the IE 9+ ones.
