I'm so happy to read your answer made me very proud about regarding your attitude! :)
After your e-mail there is no problem, in the end, my fear is in relation to the part that makes it clear that commercial use is restricted, which does not determine how restricted is. I will try to be clear in the words of the help guide for us volunteers. In a nutshell, it is very problematic restricted material we use, mainly for legal reasons, and I do not want (like no other volunteer), harm the project. Currently the logo appears to be cc-by-nc judging by what is written on the site, I would like to ask just a PR to place a valid license such as cc-by-sa. That way you do not lose the copyright, but allows the use of free projects, such as Wikimedia. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Licensing "Some examples of licensing statuses commonly found on the Internet, but forbidden on Commons, include: - Creative Commons Non-Commercial Only (-NC) licenses - Creative Commons No-Derivatives (-ND) licenses - Unlicensed material only usable under *fair use*, *fair dealing*, or other similar legal exceptions (see below for the reasons <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Licensing#Material_under_the_fair_use_clause_is_not_allowed_on_Commons> ) Non-permitted licenses may *only* be used on Commons if the work is multi-licensed under at least one permitted license." But because of your previous email, I can send to the email box of Wikimedia and put it in terms of text and shape as simple design, as described in a section of the same link: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Licensing#Simple_design Before taking any action over more than 100 pages in Wikipedia that uses the logo, wanted to know if the PR will occur, I can wait, if applicable. Lot of Thank you! The community were very proud of the gesture! Webysther Em sáb, 23 de abr de 2016 às 12:28, Colin Viebrock <[email protected]> escreveu: > Hey all.
