Hi

I have installed this on Sambar about a month ago for a client and did not
have any trouble. I have a copy of the script, when I get home I will try to
run it on IIS5 2K/S4 with the version of PHP you are using....

Oh, ya (1) question, are you running ISAPI or CGI?

I'll post a reply of my findings later tonight!

Sonia...

Hi Sonia,

Thanks for replying.

I'm running CGI ... from what I've read about ISAPI, it didn't seem feasible
to bother with it, as this is on a production server (and CGI worked right
off, heh).

Thanks,

Hi all,

I have a class that I'm using with a SOAP server. Inside of a function in
this class, I am trying to set a cookie, but have been unsuccessful so far.
I'm using PHP5 RC2 on Windows XP. Cookies set fine on my server in other
places, such as classes (that aren't used for a SOAP server) and standalone
PHP scripts.

Any ideas?

Well, I wouldn't think cookies would work as SOAP isn't supposed to work stateful. Assuming you're using a web server for the SOAP server (you can use sockets and such for it as well), each request is its own trhing. There generally isn't any kind of continuity between calls. I doubt that it's supported by anyone. I'd suggest adding a parameter to whatever call you're making and keeping track of it yourself on the client side.

I am trying to find a photo gallery (Preferrably PHP based) that I can set
up for a client that would allow him/her to upload their own photos, and
leave a caption under. The client will update the album regularly and wants
to be able to do it on their own. They wouold also like to have a
description of the photo underneath that they would also like to be able to
create themselves. Kinda like the yahoo or msn group photos.
TIA

Hi folks,

I'm using a mysql query with a LIMIT clause. The problem is I would like to know how many rows WOULD have matched had the limit clause not been in place. I realise that any solution is going to involve some over-head, but what's the most efficient way to find out?

eg.

SELECT * FROM table WHERE conditions LIMIT 30,30

Say there are 200 records that match 'conditions', only 30 rows are returned (of course). How do I find out the total number (200 in this case) that matched the conditions?

Any ideas?
