I have a client who has a application that uses an Omnis 7 internal
database. They are wanting to back up their data to a mysql db. After
reading through the material (dated 1990) for their app, there is no
real way to export their data except to an updated version of their own
program.
So, what I am asking is, (1) does anyone here have any information or
experience using Omnis 7?, (2) any suggestions on how to move data from
one database to another when you dont know anything about the first?
Is this an impossible task or what?
