Our web site (www.teeccino.com) is built in aspx, but we DO populate our web
page meta-tags as you suggested.

Not sure how detailed / indepth your web site is (regarding number of pages)
and not sure of the power of the include from the text file, but as long as
you are comfortable with every page having the exact same meta-tags it works
perfectly.

As an aside, from someone who works way too much on optimizing organic
search placement of our web site, meta tags have very little impact if any
any more.

<titles> and content are much more important, at least today

Subject: [php_mysql] PHP Include & Meta Tags

I have a topic I'd like to present for discussion. What do you think
the ramifications would be if one were to put the meta tags for a
website into a text file and then have them added to a web page using
PHP include when a page is rendered? This would make editing/updating
meta content very easy but I wonder what effect, if any, it would have
with the search engines. Your thoughts, good & bad, are welcome. Thanks!
