I have a project I am developing using PHP/MySQL. It functions
properly, every time, over and over, in every Mac & Windows browser I
have tried. That is, until today. I did a demo of the project today on
a WinXP system which was set up outside of my control, and they were
using AOL for their browser.
The project is set up so that after you enter data into the form, and
submit, you are taken to the next page, where your new choices are shown.
This works hunky-dory in any browser I've tested, except for this
time, using AOL. This time, none of the data updated or displayed
properly.
Is it possible that AOL handles forms, or databases, in some different
way? Or is it more likely that it was just a fluke of some kind?
Also, it was at a hotel. Could they have a firewall that disallows
form data submission?
Thanks,
Dale
