Assuming your record number column is an auto-increment - read the user 
comments here

  I need help on a project ; 

  I have a mysql database Displaying records in a table whenever I delete
  one of them My record Number Stays at the last place it was so when I add
  another record it takes off the last place I was at

  Example: 

  Record Id order number Customer

  1 1234
  FeedStore

  2 1432 Sioux

  3 1654
  Whoever

  I delete record id 2 and 3

  Then I go and add Another new record I have when I show the table 

  Record Id order number Customer

  1 1234
  FeedStore

  4 3455 Lyons

  How do I Fix this problem ?
