I definitely agree on this. At Nexen, we are running the same sort of
annotation system. Usage is totally the same : notes are used to add
questions and/or advertising, to send flames toward webmaster, ask for
features.
I must add that we bore a "error report" button, and we also have a totally
featured phorum so raising questions is not the point.
People get lots in a way or another, and when they finally find such a
button, they hit that desperately.
I just love this Ron's quoting : "This is why phrases like "RTFM" exist,
because people will *refuse* to read ten words, but will write ten
thousand".
Our best solution has been to add several interesting links at the page's
top of every contact forms, so has to send people to another direction.
But this is not the best : "www" is always an open email box...
