Yes, people do not seem to get the concept of the
notes being for putting *errata* to the manual, or to
add examples to the pages that lack them.
It is something that is not easy to solve, because for
every one person who truly reads the instructions and
submits useful material, you have several who do not
do either.
I am not sure if php.net should have forums, it is not
intending to be a "portal", that is the job that
Zend.com and PHPBuilder are doing.
I go to php.net for the same reasons I would go to
python.org: to get info on the language. If I need to
discuss problems I go to the mailing lists or to one
of the several portal sites dealing w/ PHP.
