Hello Rasmus,

First, I want to thank you for your reply.

Great, even the time till getting an account wasn't/isn't my problem. It was
more that my mails seemed to be lost in space, once they left my mail-appl.

But I'd agree to Jeroen's suggestion to send a mail, one if more contribs
are required, and maybe also a notification that the request came through
and is in progress (Not every php-doc-newbie looks into php.dev to check if
the request was sent successfully).

I've just found it at php.dev:
** snip **
Subject: [PHP-DEV] CVS Account Request
Date: 18 Apr 2001 14:39:14 -0700
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ("CVS Account Request")
Newsgroups: php.dev

Full name: Thomas Schfbeck

Purpose: Helping Egon with the German Translation.

If the "real thing" with password, etc. is really lost: tell it to me, I'll
redo the request or send a mail (as you like).

Many thanks,
Thomas
