winzip can decompress tar.gz just fine, and winzip is installed at almost 
every box. Why the f*ck is the manual compressed with bzip2 then? No 
single windows user has it installed.

Again, as nobody on windows is familiar with bzip2, which is perfectly 
normal as nobody else uses it, dont expect users to be familiar with it.

i strongly recommend to use .tar.gz again.
