a) Apache Module Quick Reference
This is a little confusing and should be moved (or deleted) into the Apache1 section.
That might be confusing yes. It would be better to move to the Apache 1 section to the start and then have a longer explanation.
d) Navigation
It's a little difficult to navigate. The servers.unix.xml
TOC should be listed in several places. For example, when
I click on "Unix/Linux installs", I expect to see this list of web servers. This might not be appropriate for some but it took me awhile to figure out where to find web server documentation.
That will be solved with using right DocBook tags I guess. <sect> or <section> tags.
> In the very least, the web server list
should be more like "List of Web Servers" as opposed to "Servers on Unix like Systems"
Please note that page titles are used in indexes in the CHM for example, and maybe elsewhere. So it is somewhat better to include some more info in the title even if it looks a bit odd in it's context. IMHO.
e) SAPI - CGI vs static vs module
There needs to be more distinction between CGI, static, and module versions. We toss the word SAPI around in various places yet don't document it very well in the installation docs. Or maybe this is what the building section is for?
Yes, it would be nice to explain the difference [not in the building section, as that is not read too often;)]. As well as include FastCGI in the docs and maybe document other SAPI methods we have.
