I have a very important question. We wounld like to publish the german translated version of the PHP function list as a printed appendix of a book. Are there any problems with the license ? Have we had to pay a fee ? we would like to get the answers to these questions.
The current license of the manual is the Open Publication License. According to that you should ask us first before doing any printed publication of our manual. Also you should include the license text in your book too, attributing that part to the PHP Documentation Team [as well as the German translators].
We have no straight policy on accepting or turning down such requests. How much would be the "php manual" part in your book in percent? What do you mean by "PHP function list"?
