AFAIR we decided to not use hard numbers (so people will not do useless
commits just to reach a limit, as it was done before), but put up names
instead, and then wait some pre-specified time if someone votes against
their inclusion. Since we are mostly only looking one year back, it is
easier to discuss names.
Yep, but they are usefull to help deciding. I remember that last year you
posted some stats generated by a Python tool (oh my good memory, but I can't
remember the name..).
Good. I think that's fair.
Now, at risk of patting myself on the back, I'd like to be included in
the Authors and Editors block, as well as a Notes Maintainer.
Obviously, if someone has a problem with this, we can discuss it. I'm
open-minded, and I actually really hate ringing my own bell.
you have my vote!
While I'm at it, I'd like to nominate the IBM folks for their
contributions to the PDO and SDO sections (especially): Dan Scott and
Matthew Peters.
Thats a bit different, IMHO. I think we should differentiate the
contributors and the doc group. While they have contributed some docs, they
haven't touched in any other extension except their own (SDO guys).
So I think we should split in 2: doc group/team and doc contributors (both
on main page anyway). For the same reason I would probably move Georg
Richter to the contributors' list. Dan Scott would probably fit in the doc
team list.
I would also include Sara in the contributors list, for her work on streams
and filters docs.
Probably I'm also forgeting someone, but without some stats its difficult.
