Firstly, it has been discussed on the lists. It has been investigated, I have spent more than a full day trying to track it down. I still can't work it out. The person who wrote the code has left the project and they were sh!t at documenting their code. I don't have the time to spend on this atm, I am working on phpGW extensions for clients. When I have some spare time I will look at it again.
