Looks like "em" sets the minimum width. As I wanted, the column is set to
the size even if the content is smaller. However it expands to accommodate
the content. I could get the desired effect with TextField with width but
I lose out on the alternating row colors :)
I added another class in @lib.css -*.**fixedWidth* *{**display*:
*inline-block*;*overflow*:*scroll*;*}* - and it does just what I want.
