1) Yeah I see that. Having different interfaces for UDFs is a good idea. But
not sure how much of it we will be able to handle as this breaks the BC and
will involve a lot of work. Comments from Alan?
2) The idea for having a separate physical layer was to reuse the POs in other
backends. WDL idea sounds fine by me. Don't know if others have a different
opinion.
