Hello Sebastian,

unfortunately when the piler daemon gets a message via smtp, it
has no idea about any folder info. But even if it had, it would
be difficult to follow any changes in the message transition
between folders, eg. if a user drags a message from folder1 to
folder2.

But how would you use such a folder structure info in the archive?

However if piler supported a rule set similar like the mailer application
(eg. outlook) has to sort incoming emails to folders, then it could
assign a folder (or tag) to every messages. Although a user has to
create such a rule twice: first in his mailer program, then in piler.

Dear List,

I guess there is no way to keep the folder structure of a users inbox,
right?
