I just configured it into the system and it looks like it resolves to
the mailaddress of the mailing list instead.
check the smtp envelope addresses as well by investigating the postfix
logs.

not sure. Is it internal or external list in question? Anyway how
fortunate
we are since you got some emails to the piler-user@ list, so check one
of
them for the X-Envelope-To: line whether it's correct or not.
