I can't recall, has anyone ever grokked the Network HotSync
protocol?

I more or less have to sync with MS Outlook. I used to do this
from my Linux boxen with a Windows box acting as the "server"
end of the Network Hotsync. I also did it once as an exercise
from someone else's Windows box (i.e., drop the Palm into
somebody else's cradle but sync back to my own system).

If there was a Network HotSync server for UNIX then her Windows
box could become the client for it. You still have to install
Hotsync on the Windows box but I don't _think_ it's necessary to
install the whole Palm desktop.
