I've just placed pilot-mailsync 0.5.2 online. It includes a few enhancements
such as
- a real FCC (that doesn't use BCC ;)
- re-added hack for POP3 and MH folks
- can delete mails from the mail source as they're transferred to the Palm
- when you delete a mail from the Palm, it's deleted from the source at the
next sync
- user-configurable charset (still needs improvement...)
- a newer version of c-client (built with SSL enabled)
- builds with recent pilot-link snapshots
plus a few other things like the beginnings of SMTP support (just need to add
the socket code + "HELO" I think... :) Some of these were additions from
Stephan Allner - thanks!
It's all at http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~hollis/palm/mailsync.html.
It should soon also be available via cvs from
http://gnu-designs.com/pilot-link (thanks David!).
If you have any interest in using mail on your Palm, please give it a try and
send me feedback. I'm particularly interested in compilation on other
architectures and platforms, but I also need to know if something is poorly
documented or if it's missing a vital feature for you. Thanks!
-Hollis
