An even better idea, agreed.
It occurred to me that we've got things spread relatively far apart -
addresses doesn't use the same file format as pilot-addresses, it's
not obvious from the names that one transfers from pilot to PC and the
other from PC to pilot... docs will be easier when there are six
programs that take care of syncing, transferring both to and from,
converting to and from multiple other formats (preferably ones still
in common use)... and having plugins to add formats, of course.
And it seems to me that sync code could be done in a common library.
Might be a little more dependent on the notion of relating unique IDs
to each other than on anything specific to what's stored in the
database, but I'm not the one to ask, I've never implemented a
database before. Just rambling.
Anyway, it's way past my bedtime. Again. Wish this wouldn't happen so
often. ;)
