Hi all,

I've been using pitivi for nearly a year now. Ever since I got 0.13.5 things
have been a lot smoother.

I'm basically going to have three types of video projects and am looking for
either suggestions or a chart that will help me figure out what the best
frame rates, audio/video formats, and dimensions.

The three types of videos are:

1. screen capture - slide show. Mostly text, but has pictures that look yuck
if they are pixilated, so usually the graphics need to be good, but because
it's mostly static it can have a low frame rate.

2. screen capture - demo/howto. This will be more active and graphic
intensive than the slide shows.

3. video. I have a kodak zi8 (nice camera btw). I can shoot in: 1080p, 720p,
720p 60fps, wvga.

In all three cases my delivery platform is the web. I have different
delivery formats, the two primary ones that I like the most are mp4 and flv.

If no nice chart exists, I'm happy to make one (and through trial and error
get it "perfect") and maybe we can add it to the documentation and/or wiki?

What I'm hoping you guys can provide me is a quick "here's what I do", for
example:

"For 1080p -> web I use flv w/ XxY resolution, Xfps, ABC video encoder, and
ABC audio encoder"

If you guys tell me what works best for you, I'm happy to format it up in a
nice chart.

Thanks and God Bless,
