I just got back from OHSU too and am planning to return to have surgery. They
were able to locate a tumor on my pituitary with their dynamic MRI. More amazing, they looked at my MRI's that had been done in 2001 and 2002 from
my local hospital, and they could also see the tumor, even though those MRI's
had been read as negative for tumor.
My experience at OHSU was wonderful -- Dr. Ludlam and Dr. Delashaw were very informative and I hope to be scheduled for surgery soon.
Would love to hear from others who have had experience with surgery there and
how you feel after surgery, as well as having to fly home after the surgery. We
are coming from the Midwest.
Any suggestions or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
