Hi Marty, My doc diagnosed empty sella after my MRI in Nov. She does not seem to feel that it is much of a problem. I researched on the web and just couldn't find much info about it. That doesn't mean of course, that your empty sella isn't causing you great havoc. My endo is Dr. Lisa Abbott at 775-786-6770 my neurosurgen is Dr. Hilari Fleming 775-323-2080 and the Novalis machine is at Washoe Medical Center, Washoe Cancer Service 775-982-5638. I just don't have much to tell about empty sella syndrome, just couldn't find much and my doc seems the tumor was more important. However, knowing that I had empty sella and tumor, helped me make my decision, because, I feel that with both problems, the pit gland is at risk.
