Your concerns really need to be discussed with the neurosurgeon that is treating your daughter.   I am hopeful that your daughter is receiving expert care at one of the pediatric units at one of the children's hospitals. Your daughter will also need endocrine work up to check the impact of the cystic tumor on the hypothalmic-pituitary axis.
