I do seem to have a great number of the symptoms -- however, the causes of FM can include hormone imbalances so it gets to be a bit chicken and egg (which came first?!) I haven't found any suggestions for anything much one can do about FM. My doc's only suggestion was to take Elavil for sleep and to ease muscle pain, but then my endocrinologist took me off the Elavil because he said you can't take this if you're taking Parlodel or Dostinex for a tumor.  So now I take Lorazepam for sleep, but only when I'm desperate becasue my doc says othewise I'll get addicted to the stuff and won't be able to sleep without it. Since I can't sleep without it anyway, what's the dfference?! lol Gotta go! lamorna   View other groups in this category.
