I am supposed to have a GH test this week but from the things I tell him he says it sounds link Cushings. He talked so fast I just couldn't get it written down. He said he could have me do test here and have them sent off. But I would have to have a friend nurse willing to take blood in the middle of the night. To me this sounds impossible. But it would tell him about the adrenals or ACTH or what ever. This scares me. The doctors did not check for ACTH on the pathology report because they think it was a non-functioning tumor. Dr. Ludlam says it sounds like a functioning tumor. The predisone I was given before surgery kept me awake all the time. That was to much, I already had a problem but I had a 24 hour urine cortisol test done when I first got really sick. I am so confused. What does a person do? Distressed in Oklahoma.
