I was diagnosed w/ a prolactinoma in 2000. I have been off & on Dostinex during that time (mostly off b/c I am a horrible patient![]() !!). Never had a problem with it. I have a new doctor now & I was discussing having kids with her. She talked to an infertility specialist & he recommended Parlodel. Even after hearing all the bad things about it I thought I would try it this past Monday. Tuesday morning I was so sick I couldn't even go to work!! So I wanted my doc to prescribe Dostinex but she suggested that instead of swallowing the Parlodel that I insert it vaginally. I guess since it completely bypasses going through your stomach/gut there is no nausea, vomiting, dizziness, etc. I am looking for anyone else who has taken their Parlodel/bromocriptine this way and if it worked for you....especially as far as having NO side effects!!!!
