Hi Maggie!

I just now had a chance to read your update. Thanks so much! You are "my inspiration"! I am very thankful I have come to know you!! You are a wonderful person to share this story with everyone and very courageous going through all of this.

Life is too short for any of us to go to doctor after doctor looking and looking for what is wrong!! Thanks to you, I now know about Dr. Ludlam, (who IS the most compassionate doctor who has given his time to me so willingly via emails and calls) and answered some of my questions. As I'm sure everyone who will listen to me knows that I am going to see him the week of May 3-7th for tests, consultations, etc. I can not wait!!!! I am so excited to meet this wonderful doctor in person!!!!!! If and when I become finally diagnosed and treated, I am determined I will do whatever is necessary to get more of
us (who are waiting in the sidelines and looking for help and where to go) encouraged to proceed in the efforts of finding their diagnosis as you have. We all have to stick together and move forward in a positive direction to help motivate others there is help and where they can go to get that help. I do believe there are some of us (out of fear and frustration), who don't push hard enough, almost become paralyzed in non movement because we don't know what to do next.... I admit I've been one of those myself, yet, I felt I gave each doctor time and an opportunity to hopefully uncover the cause. There are those who will not accept a non-diagnosis and keep on searching. You are so knowledgeable about this subject since you've been through so much....like I said you are "my inspiration", and I have been
motivated to seek the real answers by you and others in this group encouraging me. The information where to stay while I'm there is also so appreciated too that you provided.

Minnie too has been so helpful, knowledgeable as others I've come to know in this group and I really thank each one for your contributions to encourage me through this.

Please to all of us out there...think about Maggie's message. Please, don't continue waiting too long...when there are wonderful talented doctors out there to help and treat our individual conditions. Waiting, may only cause us to later look back and find ourselves in a position, that the damage done ( by waiting) may not ever be reversed. I am determined I am dealing with my situation head on now, and learn from other's mistakes (unfortunately, there were the mistakes) or what could be considered waiting. Let our suffering become a positive movement forward toward hope!!

You and the others desparately searching, and recovery are in my prayers,
Marty
