Meri,
I am so sorry you passed out at work. I feel really bad that you need to wait for treatment until August. I wanted to run something by you. Raynauds. Well I have elevated RBC, HCT, HGB. It is called polycythemia vera. Haven't nailed down the cause. There are several. Sometimes it can't be nailed down. Many of the symptoms are the same as Raynauds. Cold digits, burning, tingling, bluish to black color, numbness. They think the excess cells in the blood clog up the microvasculature system. There are other symptoms as well. Deep itchy feeling in your muscles. Redness of skin, especially after showers or baths. Bone pain associated with increased volume of bone marrow. Sometimes the spleen is enlarged. A person can have some or none of these symptoms. You probably have had these tests run a million times. You might want to check them and see if you are high or over the reference range. I have seen a least a dozen doctors who have either run these tests or seen the results and ignored it. It needs to be treated as soon as it shows up. Mine showed up over and over starting 5 years ago. The labs spreadsheet has been a godsend. Sure gives you a better picture of what is going on. If you know anything about this in relation to pit problems, please let me know. Missed you at chat. I really hope you feel better soon.
take care,
Jean in Co.
