Let's see...

Surgery is not recommended @ this time, so I plan on finding treatments for my endless symptoms. I was disappointed that I will not have the option of surgery this summer, but I understand why (sort-of:-P).

I am going to continue to test for Cushings and MEN. I see my PCP later this week, so I will ask her to order all my tests and scans. I am also hoping to be put on thyroid meds to help with all my hypothyroid symptoms.

I also have to find a replacement for my miracle drug, indomethacin. I have been on it too long, so now I have to find something else that works! Any recommendations for treatment for 24/7 migraines? I am not looking forward to giving up my indo!! Grrrrrr.

Well, looks like I will have piles of tests over the next weeks/months. I wanted all the testing to be over! As my sweet endo pointed out, I "hava lifetime of tests to look forward to!" Grrrrrr.

As you can tell, I am not the happiest about my current medical situation. I did unofficially consult a wonderful physician who gave me great advice and important information (thank you!) so I do intend to follow that advice and find a doctor who will work with me every step of the way. Looks like I am back to doctor-hunting! Watch out! You may be next! :-P

That's my update...no surgery for me!

I hope everyone has a great week! I am going to try, try, try (try is the operative word) to make it to the chat tomorrow night. Hope to see you there!

Take care. You're always in my prayers.

Meri
