I think that having belief support is important, when so many uncertainties
are around us. I have very strong spiritual beliefs. Actually, I keep a
prayer diary for many of you who are going through tough times, surgery,
etc. It brightens my day to place a check mark next to prayer entries from
days gone by. The other day, I was in a near miss wreck. Two lanes over (I
was in the middle lane)a van had begun to roll off a giant car carrier. In
my mind, I heard the words "ladder!" (similar to a ladder that had fallen
off of a truck 15 years ago and had spun across the highway like a top - I
nearly missed it). Anyway, I broke hard and held my horn strong (in Houston
rush hour traffic). The van came off the car carrier, did a 180+ degree turn
around, went through 2 lanes and stopped facing me. I managed to stop within
12" of hitting the van, the car to the right of me avoided the van, and the
none of the cars behind me rear ended anyone. I have other stories... Ah
well, I wish you well in your treatment and recovery. Minnie
