Dr. Blevins is a very good endocrinologist, so I think that he will look at things both biochemically, and may have you do some special imaging (perhaps on a higher tesla magnet) to help figure out what is going on.   About a year ago, a patient had surgery, and his ended up being a meningioma. You can read the thread here:   Surgery Complete -they found a different kind of tumor   I think if they go in, they won't biopsy, they will go in and remove as much as they can.
