I just wanted to say one more thing... been on my mind.

It isdifficult is to have your doctor clear across the country. It is important to have a local doctor that will help. Some people have awesome internal med docs, or pcps, and many of us have local endocrinologists.

I am sure that as you get more information together, that Dr. Ludlam will be more than happy to review, and offer suggestions.

I know your daughter is suffering and may need some intense testing to try to narrow things down. I am spoiled - my doctors are right by my office, so it is nothing to scoot out and back again. I don't think I could fly out more than about 3-4 times a year for doctor visits. I know cancer patients do it, but I also know that the local physician/oncologist plays a very important role in their care.

For what it's worth....You might want to clarify the level of involvement you expect from the center, and in particular, with Dr. Ludlam.
