Amanda, I had the same thing happen after my second child with prolactin levels being about the same as yours. An MRI is the only way to determine if you have a tumor. If at all possible have the MRI. You don't want to take the chance of a tumor affecting your vision or worse. My prolactin was in the 60's, breast leaking, no periods, all that stuff. I had 6mm prolactin tumor. I take bromocritine daily and they think it is shrinking. My prolactin is 11 now and my body is pretty much back to normal. I have annual MRI's to monitor the tumor. I would definately say you need a first MRI as a baseline to rule anything and hopefully prevent any future problems. I know what you mean about insurance though. I have a $4000. deductible.....ouch.
