Thanks to those who took the time and trouble to reply. It really is amazing to have a suport network online when going through "difficult" times.

It really has been interesting reading your replies as often (PRE-drugs) I do feel poorly - sometimes nauseous, dizzy and, well, just drained! For a while I wondered if it could be down to my hormones as none of my friends seem to suffer that way. I am 31 and often feel so exhausted when I get in from work, yet they are raring to go! I guess though that as I have had this condition for 9 years (since diagnosis) it is hard to remember how I felt before this all started!

It is interesting what you say about low testosterone as i believe that is quite high. However you MAY have been reading my post thinking I am a BOY! Sorry, my full name is Charlotte!!! I am not sure if that idea is still true if you are female!

I also remember some of my tests have come back with DHEAs being high. I have no idea what this hormone is, other than an androgen!

With regard to my tumour - well, I had an MRI in 1995 and no tumour was seen. Here in England they do not test again unless the prolactin level shoots up!

Anyway, I am due to start on 0.5mg Cabergoline once a week as soon as my Dr can arrange it. I am going forward feeling more confident after reading your posts. Thanks so much!

Charlotte
