The current thinking is that GH does not affect the growth of pituitary tumors. I believe this is discussed on several webcasts:

I think too there has been a recent paper published that examines if pituitary tumors regrow when on GH therapy. I can look for it if you like.
 
Old school - no GH
New school, the health benefits are pretty remarkable.
 
I think it is BS that the other endo in town won't take you because you are someone elses patient. Check out the AACE, find a pituitary endo in your area, make your own appt, and keep your mouth shut re: who has been caring for you in the past (lordy, I've about had enough of hearing about ruffled chicken feathers from M.D.'s) lol.
