Endo rant / Synthroid dose question...

Hey everyone.

Just talked to my Endo today. She wants me to start skipping my Sunday
dose of Synthroid to cut it down. Is this even an effective way of
cutting down the dose??? (I've heard some people mention that maybe my prolactinoma is screwing with the Thyroid.)

I'm kind of peeved with her. She doesn't even know what my levels are
to start adjusting my dose! The only TSH test I had was a month ago and
it was at 6.1. I had my TSH checked last monday, but the results aren't
in yet. (Maybe she just thinks the prolactinoma is the cause of Thyroid problems and wants me to start lowering Synthroid because of that???)

How the heck is she even coming to the conclusion to cut the dose
down???

I go to see her again on March 2. She'll have a whole slew of results
to look over that time (I go in next monday to do a battery of tests on
prolactin, thyroid, testosterone). I guess I'll have a whole bunch of
questions by then too.

I had been feeling really anxious and experiencing panic attacks two
weeks ago and the weeks before. But last week and now this week, I've
been doing pretty good. Feeling a lot better. If it's because of the
synthroid, I don't want to screw it up. But I guess its just one dose a
week. So its a small reduction.

Thanks for listening.
