Keri is right -- breast stimulation can elevate prolactin (modestly) -- it's one of the things on that very long list -- sleep, eating, ever having had trauma to the chest wall or surgery, etc, etc. These are great and candid responses. I have not had this problem -- my galactorrhea was something other than milky, and not spontaneous (discovered it in the shower). This is one good way to weed out the goofballs from the real deal -- you may be very pleasantly surprised when a guy rises to this or reacts in a much more positive and understanding way than you might have expected him to. Other way around, of course, could be a little brutal, but it's better to know before you sleep with him in that case. Jess had a great point -- the milk is only one small part of this, and if a potential boyfriend cannot handle that, he will probably not be a great support with much of the rest of it. I suspect many guys would respond as one poster's boyfriend did (he loved it). You know how guys love any sign that a woman is enjoying herself -- and you know how they love to take credit for this, even if (as YOU know) it happens no matter who is doing the touching. It's astonishingly easy to boost a guy's ego in bed -- and most of them, I suspect, would not only think it is great, but would think that they were causing it because of their remarkable abilities to please you! |
