Sometimes tumors do grow back. Some grow back fast, some slow. Many surgeons are very much against radiation and feel a second surgery is worthwhile, while others feel that the next course of action should be radiation.   I suppose where I am going is to take your time, review your options, and make the best decision for you and your particular situiation.
