Sometimes we have reasons our kids will never comprehend and the only reason that makes sense is because we are the boss and we said that is how it is going to be. I always tell my kids in the case of not understanding. OK when you grow up and have kids I will come to your house and take your child out to do (______) what ever the case is. Since you think you should get to do this and you would be the kind of parent that would allow (_____) you won't mind if I take your child to do that. This usually ends the discussion with OK I get it. I love my kids very much and when all else is said and done "because I said so" = " I LOVE YOU THAT MUCH" enough to say no and live with disappointing my child. Well spoken LoSNaz!
