I've been on prednisone for 23 years. The problem with dosage is that it's an inexact science. The cortisol levels of people with normal pituitary glands fluctuates quite a bit to help the body deal with various stresses. I've had my battles with fatigue - for many years, much of my down time was spent in bed...sleeping...so I can relate. A change to my dosage a few years back has made a big difference, I feel much better. I say see another endo.
