Everything has happened so fast. I was told that I had Acromegaly by my endo at the beginning of March the next day I had an MRI and found out that it was a tumor in my pituitary that needed to be removed asap. I saw a Neurosurgeon the following week and on March 25th I had my tumor removed. I jumped into all of this so quickly that I did not have the researched knowledge that I would have liked to have. Now that I have had the surgery a lot of things have happened that I need help figuring out. I came out of the surgery with double vision. Has anybody else had this problem? How long does it last? I can't smell anything and I have a funny taste in my mouth all the time. Is this normal? I have asked my Neurosurgeon these questions and all I get in response is, give it time and everything will go back to normal. I guess I am just looking for someone else who has had any of these problems so I can be reassured that everything will go back to the way it was. |
