I am not sure if I am asking this question in the right thread but will ask it anyway. Does anyone know if my friends pituitary might start to function again? The tumour was non functioning and it was in the anterior part of the pituitary. He lost 50% of it during the surgery 8 years ago and has been taking replacement hormones since then. Now it seems they may have been able to remove it all. Is it possible for the pituitary to reactivate itself?
