Hi There!
I'm new to the chat, but old to the tumor.  20 years now on meds.  Microadenoma with prolactin between 50 and 100, and having a period.  Not bad by my standards, started with 450.  Parlodel was hell. Dostinex is not too bad, but I know the fatigue.  I take only .25mg 2 times a week, but still experience the worst fatigue at day after the dose.  I take Sudaphed 20mg. in the morning when I get up and that helps the stuffy dry feeling in my head and body.  Sometimes I need another 20 mg in the afternoon.  Works pretty good.  I do have to schedule my week by my fatigue.  None of my docs (been through 5 endos) would belive my "stuffy" symptoms.  I also experience a drooping of my face and general grogginess with the Dostinex.  I also think the increased dopamine levels cause a "depressing" action.  They use it to slow down Parkinson's tremors, it has to be a powerfull neurotransmitter action.  Between the symptoms of increased prolactin, medication side effects, and depression (currently on Cymbalta) it's hard to tell what causes what symptom.  I did take Celexa for a year with the Dostinex which did make a big difference.

I've tried many types of alternative therapies which has led me into becoming an energy/bodywork practicioner.  I've done Reiki, yoga, Aruvedic medicine, accupuncture, vitamins, herbs, you name it to try to get off the medication. But I've always come back.  My tumor was gone after one year of energy work, but came back.  I took herbs for adrenal insufficency which appeared to get rid of the tumor, but came back. (per MRI).

I've been afraid of the surgery due to all the complications that can happen.  It's encouraging to hear success stories about surgery too.
Thanks and Good Luck! Nancy in AZ
