Hi! - I think we are answering each other's posts :) I did not use any hormones derived from pregnant horses urine (Like prempro, premarin) only the ones I'm on now (from plants). The climara is a patch I change once per week. It is the right choice for me, I have had nothing but good results. I read a lot about what to take (horse vs. plant) before approaching my MD. By the way, I think most of those studies on hormone replacement being dangerous were conducted with women taking horse derived meds. Something to look into/check out. Hope that this helps.
