You may get a "cool" feeling if they administer it correctly. If they administer it and miss the vein, you would get a "burning" sensation. Let them know if you have any discomfort. You may want to request a blanket if you're sensitive to cold. I am always freezing during my MRIs, especially post-contrast. Good luck on your MRI. Take care. Meri |
